Shine United Hires Chris Sprangers as Partner / Director of Outdoor Brands

Shine United, a full-service advertising, digital and design firm headquartered in Madison, WI, announced today that Chris Sprangers has been hired as Partner / Director of Outdoor Brands.

Sprangers arrives at Shine from the National Rifle Association, where he was Senior Managing Director of Corporate Partnerships. Prior to the NRA, Sprangers worked in a variety of roles for outdoor specialty retailer Cabela’s, including brand partnership manager and marketing manager.

Born in Wisconsin, Sprangers is an avid outdoorsman and is eager to return to his native state and join Shine as it comes off a record year in billings and growth.

“Being located in America’s heartland, serving outdoor brands has always been a natural fit for Shine,” said Mike Kriefski, co-founder and agency president. “Given Chris’s extensive background at Cabela’s – along with his personal outdoor experience – his addition will allow Shine to grow and continue as a serious player in the world of outdoor brands.”

Sprangers will be responsible for helping drive agency growth and thoughtful innovation for the agency, specifically in its growing portfolio of outdoor clients — from hunting, fishing and boating to running, biking and apparel.
